Video Translation and Transcription Services

Tomedes recently completed a highly specialised translation service – the translation of a video from English to Russian. Such work requires the skills of transcriptionists, translators and voiceover artists in order that it can be completed to Tomedes’ exacting professional standards. 

At Tomedes we not only maintain a bank of professional translators, we also have access to team members with expertise in transcription, desktop publishing and myriad other useful areas, which for this job included voiceover artists.  

After our transcriptionist had taken down word for word the content of the video, our Moscow-based Russian translator got to work. Once he had completed the job, he handed it over to our professional Russian voiceover artists, who then recorded the audio track in Russian. Our technical chaps then applied the newly recorded soundtrack to the original video. 

This was a real team effort and the client was thrilled with the result, and particularly with the fact that we had provided such a professional service at such a low cost. He promptly provided us with two more videos to be translated into Russian, which we were happy to provide for the same reasonable rates that mark Tomedes out as one of the best value business translation services on the market.
